Users are not required to register or give us any personal information in order to access the Site and to view the text, video, pictures and other content contained therein (collectively the “Site Content”, as defined in the Terms of Use). In order to keep Users informed about our services, we may send e-mails and announcements concerning the Site and the Site Content. We may provide Users with the option of joining an e-mailing list to receive additional information about Site, Site Content, services, and any special offers. Please contact your PGE sales representative with regard to regular information updates by e-mail. PGE may collect certain non-personally identifiable information about a User’s use of our services. For example, PGE might collect information concerning the type of Internet browser being used to access the Site, the type of computer operating system being used, a User’s IP address, connection speed, domain name, User’s Internet service provider, the geographic location from which the User accesses the Site, and/or the Website or advertisement from which the User linked to the Site. We also track and collect information about Site usage patterns, such as the pages and Site Content that have been accessed, and the amount of time Users spend on the Site. This information is useful in determining how to improve the site by assessing general usage patterns, repeat Users, and demographic data. With regard to Users visiting the Site or clicking through hyperlinks appearing thereon, or using one or more of our other services, we may use an industry-wide technology called "cookies" which stores certain information on a User’s computer and which will allow us to customize the User’s experience to better match the User’s interests and preferences or simply facilitate signing-in to use our services. In order to make sure the codec is functioning properly and to add functionality, PGE may periodically send updates, fixes or support files. Once the codec has been downloaded to your computer, the software will keep track of User activity on the site including streaming and downloading activity. Some of the Site Content is produced by or provided by third parties to PGE, as such, PGE is not responsible for any Site Content provided by third party or for any content accessed via links on the Site (“Linked Sites”) to other websites operated by subsidiaries or holding companies of PGE or other independent third parties. Users should review the terms of use and privacy policy for each new site visited. Linked Sites are not under the influence or control of PGE and PGE is not responsible for the terms of use, privacy policies, content, or practices of such Linked Sites or for the terms of use, privacy policies, content, or practices of any subsequent links to others websites. PGE works with third parties who provide services, which may include website hosting, promotion fulfillment, data analysis and other services of an administrative or technical nature. We seek to impose confidentiality obligations on such service providers. Also, entities into which PGE is merged, or to which PA’s assets, site or operations have been transferred or sold, will operate under the terms of this Privacy Policy. PGE also reserves the right to disclose information to third parties when PGE believes in good faith that the law requires it, to enforce PGE’s Terms of Use for the Site, to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of PGE, its content providers, or the public, to respond to an emergency, or as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy. PGE uses reasonable security methods to protect the data that resides on its servers. However, because no security system is impenetrable, PGE cannot guarantee the security of the aforementioned servers. It is also possible that information supplied to PGE will be intercepted during transmission. Whenever User accesses the Site, PGE will take commercially reasonable steps to protect any information that may be available. Any unauthorized use of the Site may result in criminal and/or civil prosecution. Without limiting the foregoing, PGE shall have the right to immediately terminate User’s access to the Site in PGE’s sole discretion for any reason or cause whatsoever.
